I did the same thing before knitting my first cardigan- practiced on a doll size one and I think it was a good decission so that I could begin a full sized one feeling far less daunted. If you can knit that lacey pattern you'll surely do fine!karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16042422062528593853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8587434624648336402.post-48726532678882661992012-03-01T07:29:40.910-08:002012-03-01T07:29:40.910-08:00I heard the Zimmerman surprise sweater is a really...I heard the Zimmerman surprise sweater is a really easy pattern. And I also love knitting for babes, it goes so much quicker, and most of the time looks better when I am finished :-)Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12261179479821073705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8587434624648336402.post-24006892670517755062012-02-29T12:48:40.982-08:002012-02-29T12:48:40.982-08:00That lavender color is so spring-like and pretty. ...That lavender color is so spring-like and pretty. EZ's February baby sweater is one of my all-time favorite patterns. I bet you'll be able to work out the instructions just fine. I love Laura Ingalls Wilder, too. When I was a kid I used to watch the Little House on The Prairie television show--that was my introduction to LIG. I was surprised by the books: what a different flavor they have from the t.v. series. I've read all of them aloud to my children throughout the years. My favorite was Farmer Boy.

This week I'm reading a Lisa Kleypas romance, and a book called, A Tree Full of Angels: Seeing the Holy in the Ordinary, by Sr. Macrina Wiederkehr. I'm thinking of starting Wide Sargasso Sea, by Jean Rhys later in the week. It's the story of Mr. Rochester's made wife (from Jane Eyre).

I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my blog, and for leaving such a nice comment. It's always nice to meet new friends :-)Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11738801059116109351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8587434624648336402.post-26846774985671683242012-02-29T12:03:02.916-08:002012-02-29T12:03:02.916-08:00Your knitting is beautiful..please share with us y...Your knitting is beautiful..please share with us your completed sweater..

~~ReneeKnitters Notebookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11828971476334676496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8587434624648336402.post-25535879667604247582012-02-29T10:39:09.439-08:002012-02-29T10:39:09.439-08:00I can't wait to see that baby sweater complete...I can't wait to see that baby sweater completed.
MomAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
